A Joint Meeting of the Muvattupuzha, Arakuzha and Vazhakulam Forane Committees were held on 18 Sept. 2011 at Vazhakulam. Vazhakulam Forane President Cris Thomas presided over. Vazhakulam Forane Director Rev. Fr. George Chemparathy delivered the keynote address. The main matter of discussion was conduct of a meet of the activists under the 3 forane- to recollect the memories of the 'Muvattupuzha Mekhala'. It is decided to conduct the Binoj Memorial Debate competition and a Youth Meet in November at Muvattupuzha. Mr. Ginto Varikkat, former Diocesan Secretary and Mvpa Forane committee member was selected as the Programme Co-ordinator. Also an Organising Committee was constituted with 2 members from each forane. Rev. Fr. John Kadavan (Mvpa), Rev. Fr. Mathew Kochumundanmalayil (Arka), Rev. Fr. George Chemparathy (Vzkm)-the Directors, Presidents of the Foranes and Unit President of the Venue will be Ex-Officio members of the Committee. VF Vice President Sini Augustine welcomed the gathering and Secretary Tom John proposed the vote of thanks.
